February 2011. RcAerotowing.com has been asked to present two symposiums at the 57th Annual Weak Signals Trade Show in Toledo 4/1-3. Simply entitled “aerotowing,” our goal is to educate beginning aerotow enthusiast on the basic principles of aerotowing. Presenter and Director of first flight for rcaerotowing.com Dr James Dolly, will lead us through the steps involved in getting into and ready to aerotow, including choosing a glider, what makes a good tow plane and how to get started on a budget.
After Dr Dolly’s presentation, rcaerotowing.com’s co-founder Len Buffinton will talk briefly about larger scale sailplanes and what’s on the market, where to get it and how it flies. The presentations will conclude with a question and answer segment.
Symposiums are scheduled for FRIDAY 10:00 am in room 314 and Saturday 11:00 room 304
