FIRST LOOK: New 46% PA-25 Pawnee from Team Edge – includes update from Bill Hempel

2012 looks to be a stellar year for new airplanes at Team Edge!   Many perfectly suited for tow duties.

NEWS! – 01/15/12 update from Bill:  

The wing span is 198”

Weight (projected) 65-70lbs (with 200cc motor)

Canister area provided

Functional wings struts

Arriving in 3 weeks. (However, I have sold out on this first batch of (8) airplanes…  L ) More are being built now! Expected delivery of the second container is May’ish

Designed for use with engines of 150cc or larger. The 200-220 size should be able to pull anything up! You can install the 3W 240-275 if you are towing monster gliders..   J

Bill Hempel has some great looking airplanes arriving soon and the time to order is now. Their new 25% and 40% L-4 Grasshopper and 25% Decathlons will arrive soon. The new 46% PA-25 Pawnee will too! More information about these new airplanes will be up shortly.  We’re particularly fond of this big, brawny Pawnee.  First photos literally became available this morning.

A great platform for 150-200 cc engines.  Wing span should be 198″.  Moola needed is $2495.00  Watch this post for updates and of course, Bill will have it on his website soon.
