Hello everybody, my name is Gustavo from Argentina, and I´ve just met this great site when I found it looking for rc aerotowing through the web. I was flying rc models for about 10 years, specially sailplanes. Today I have an Ellipse 2T, an Azart V, and some 3 meter sailplanes of my own design.
To start with aerotowing I think to use another own design model, a SPAD one who flies excellent and is equiped with an argentine engine, the Snorer .47 Motion, BHP 1,55 with 11x6 prop. Do you think this model will be able to tow 4 to 7 lbs sailplanes? Thank you very much. Gustavo

This is a simple thanks to the guys at New England Aero Tow (particularly Len and Steve) who all welcomed this newcomer to their event and helped me check-out and maiden my first scale ship. This is a 3.0M LET ASW 28 that weighs in under 4lbs and flies / thermals well. I was helped by a whole crew and assisted by the team with the first tow --- so that I didn't have to take responsibility for crashing it - if it were to crash. Once it took flight for the first time I was able to take over and land and then solo myself for three more flights before calling it a day and going off to settle the nerves. Cheers everyone!
P.S. Please tell me how to upload a video (what format to use) and I'll attach the maiden flight take off - captured by a good Samaritan who agreed to take all the photos and video while I was on the flight line.
