My father, Woody ("W1") was the VP of the SSA at one time and competed in full-scale competitive soaring for over 30 years. He holds a soaring "Triple Lenny" Diamond award.
I worked for 15years in the airshow business as a mechanic and custom fabricator for Leo Loudenslager (Bud Light Laser 200, Bede Microjet, and Twin Comanche).
I introduced my aerobatic student, Skip Stewart, to Leo and he is now performing airshows in his modified Prometheus Pitts. Skip is also a fellow r/c pilot.
Other interests include photography, travel, teaching, sailing, windsurfing, standup paddleboard, biking, and moonlit walks on the beach..lol.
