Heartfelt Thanks to Sandy Allen and Graupner USA

Dear Sandy Allen, the Generous Folks at Graupner USA and Len B. and Steve P. and the good folks at RC Aerotowing.com and anyone else I may be omitting, Thankyou- thankyou- thankyou!!! Len Buffington called me yesterday to ask if I'd been on the website in the past few days. He clued me in to the contest results and to say I was shocked is a monumental understatement! I never win anything and always seem to be 'paying the piper' for one thing or another. I don't let it bother me and try to help others when possible. As a matter of fact, on the way home from work after receiving the awesome news, the temperature increased and what did my car window do but short circuit and open all the way- seriously! Did I get disappointed? NOPE! I reminded myself that the AC still works and some folks don't have a car. I am still grinning in disbelief! I have always admired the Graupner radios but didn't have funds to make the acquisition. I can't wait to fly with the PRIZED Graupner MC-32! I hope to be a worthy ambassador for Graupner USA for their generosity. Words just can't express it all! Thanks so much to Sandy Allen, Graupner USA, Len, Steve and RC Aerotowing.com. My sincere apologies if I've omitted anyone responsible for making this contest happen. Sincerely, Michael Kelly

That's perhaps the best post that's ever appeared in the short life of RCAeroTowing.com.

    Congratulations Michael! Thanks Sandy!

Sandy Allen of Graupner USA called the other day. Don't tell him I said so but... what a nice guy! We talked about Graupner, the MC-32 radio some of the old Graupner radio technology and shot the breeze in general! Graupner has a real gem of a representative! I watched the info-vid about the MC-32 on Graupner's website. It's pretty interesting. Pairing me to this radio is akin to putting a 16 y/o with barely a driver's permit into an F1 race car. I hope I can handle it! Thanks everybody!
