What have you guys been using to add weight to obtain CG?

The prior owner of my ASW19 had made a pouch filled with lead and then had this attached in the front of the glider. I'm thinking of doing the same and using BB's for air rifles.

Before i commit, what are you guys using?

Lead shot. Not sure if it can be bought in Canada but it is used for reloading shotgun shells and comes in 25 lb. bags..... I get the smallest size they have.....packs together tighter and a buch heavier then BB's
Vintage wood is the BEST! But....every now and then a plastic missile can be quite enjoyable!

    +1 for lead shot.

I also use lead bars -- decoy weights. Nice thing about those is you can cut to custom length, bolt together blocks. etc.

Hahaha.....there is a bit of truth in Len's statement.....I have some models with hunks of steel bolted to the firewall and others with whatever I had that was heavy enough to fit in the space avalible.

Led shot can be put in the nose with goop and if you need it can be removed semi easily.
    Will fly for food.

I'll definitely be using goop. Never know in years from now if I won't re-convert it to electric. When i purchased it off the original owner, It was a 4.10 meter electric ship.

I'll be mixing led weights with BB's. Can't get shot here. (I do not have a gun permit).

You can also use fishing weights.......you don't need a permit for those do you?
Another source is tire shops.....they usually keep a bucket full of lead weights that they take off of wheels when they change tires....most times if you ask they will just give you a bag full.
