    Aero Towing KC Style

    Guys,

I just got back from KC after a day of Aero Towing with the KC boys. The weather was absolutely perfect with light winds blowing straight down the runway. The thermals started popping about 10:00 am and we had some of the best lift I have seen in a long time. I finally got to maiden my HF Model ASG29 and all I can say is wow. I have not had the opportunity fly much scale as this is my first glass slipper scale plane. I am primarily a TD flyer but I have to say that I have never had a TD plane climb like my 29 did today. I have always liked TD planes that were more like sports cars than floaters and the 29 is a thoroughbred. My sister was with us today and took some video so hopefully I will be able to post some of the videos and pictures from our fun today. I am now even more pumped for our Aero Tow coming up in August. I just had to share my fun today.

    See Ya,

    Pat

    Hey Pat,

Real happy to hear you guys got some flying in. The 29 is a beautiful flying ship. It sounds like it flew with no issues, gotta love it.

Look forward to seeing the videos.

    Pete,

It is the club field for KSS near Wellsville KS. Jim Frickey and Tim Gastinger are the tow pilots and have tons of experience and hundreds of tows between them. They are our two main tow pilots for our event that will be held August 23rd through the 26th SW of Wichita KS. We would love to have you come join us. Nelson Itterly from the St. Louis area came to our Aerotow Last year.

    See Ya,

    Pat
