First Aerotow for Another Heli Guy!

Seems like I have been on a mission to recruit helicopter pilots to the sport of aerotowing (hello Dave D) and today we got yet another one. Rick K visited the field with his fine new TRex 550

So we put the Easy Glider Pro transmitter in his hands and ButchB towed him aloft...three times! Three takeoffs and three landings...he is now official!

The weather conditions were great at Highpoint Aviation for my first aero tow experience. Butch ran an nice smooth pattern with his tow plane and JimD offered flying tips during the flight which was helpful. My primary interest was taking off and flying a few circles before the set up for landing. Although I landed on the field, I had to do a little walking to retrieve the plane. That was ok, as plane landed level and was in one piece. I have to get use to the one chance only to land concept.
It was a blast and I do believe my next plane will be an EZ Glider.
