Kirchner 1/2 size Libelle

Hi everyone, I've just acquired a 1/2 size libelle with an SLS system. The model is a older set up and was sucessfully flown in Europe over most of the last decade. Interested in any thoughts or suggestion on programming the model with either a JR 10x or 12X.

Hey, thats the one I tipped as for sale in the Libelle thread on RCGroups.

About programming on a JR radio I can't help you. I'm just wondering what four gyro-stabilizers in a glider like this do and if they wouldn't take the fun out of flying.

At this juncture I think the Gyros are for leveling on take off for the elevator, ailerons etc.

FYI - The Libelle has flow with the SLS several times this year and most recently at the Visalia Spring aerotow. All systems performed as planned from the original German build. As of yet I have not used gyro assist therefore everything is manual and challenging on take off. Nonetheless the excitiment only adds to the overall fun. The plane is perfectly balanced with the power source. Not to heavy.
