Holy cow, what a day. Another spectacular weather day. Booming booming booming lift, and an ever so slight breeze if any. I flew my butt off today, (that's a lot of flying) both towing and sailplanes. Everyone at the event had smiles from ear to ear.
The morning started with a Ka6 contingent. The first 3 or 4 sailplanes to get in the air were Ka6's. They thought they ruled, until the glass slippers arrived. I eventually brought out the big Duo Discus and the Arcus, Don flew his new ASH 26 and Fox, Steve ripped the sky up with his ASH 26 also, along with the Salto.
Towing the Duo with no headwind takes a smooth pilot, and my thanks go out to Steve for giving me great tows. We had one tow that was going so well we didn't want to stop, next thing you know, the tow plane is a speck and the Duo is looking a little small.
All our friends from Canada and the US had a blast today. The day was capped off with a catered dinner under a huge tent. The raffle was crazy. AMR stepped up once again and provided some SPECTACULAR prizes, as well as a host of other companies. We'll do a full report at the end of the event.
Lastly, our fellow forum member, Josh from VT came by the last couple days and really chipped in doing anything he was asked to do, so today he had the opportunity to fly around my 8m Duo Discus for a while. He told me he was headed home to put his 3.8m plane up for sale and get a bigger one. lol. He is a really nice guy and will be a huge addition to the aerotowing community. Thanks for helping out Josh,
Here are some pictures from the day, not many because I was too busy flying.

It's not complicated, bigger is better.
Hi. Times flies too fast and another summer event went by. We were lucky to have that great weather all week-end long and by the same time "atomic boomers" on Saturday.
I as president of the club Les Arpents V'Air would like to thanks everyones that made it at this event as without you it would has been impossible to get something like this,Also a " gigantic" thank you to RcAerotowing for providing such a great way to share our experiences and knowledge in this hobby and to Len and Steve who seems to be the "motor" to get all of us going.
Thanks goes also to some of our club members who worked so hard to get everything right ,to all our sponsors and especially AMR-RC who was so generous with us again this year filling our raffle table with engines of all sizes, 2 Hi-Tech radio sets (5 and 6 channels), glue, hardware, hats, etc. Thank you Michel for what you are doing for the hobby.
So out of about 200 pics taken during the event ,here's some for you to enjoy.
A big thanks to all!!!!!!
Daniel
