Well, nothing too exciting going on now. Just making the LE / D tube sheeting. I want to have those ready so once the first half wing is still attached to the board I can add the sheeting right away.

Lots of the sheets were not that strait so I had to cut a lot of wood to get straight enough edges.

Then I cleaned up the edges using the sanding "machine" mentioned before.

Next I cut the sheets at 45degrees to splice them together

    Ready to glue

I need to get some masking tape tomorrow to tape the sheets for gluing.

So I cleaned up the ailerons a little bit and started to think.....wings

Started by making the trailing edges.

Then just to see how things are I dry fitted the parts together.

In next few days I'll start gluing stuff again

First I need to get the wing attachment brackets ready. I don't think I'll use the set up on the plans. Nothing wrong with that set up but I'll use attachment closer to scale.

Petr, I'm always available to help where I can. Your last ship flew great, which is a testament to your careful setup.

Looking great! For some reason I quit working on the 2-22. Kind of like exercise I guess, once stopped, it's hard to get going again.
