Glad it runs! What size aluminum tube and how long is it? And what is the wing span?
Vintage wood is the BEST! But....every now and then a plastic missile can be quite enjoyable!

wing tube is 1in diameter and 24in long. Wingspan is 89in, two half wings no fuselage mounting of the wing tube.

    Weight is 18lb.

Will do the struts anyway, but don't see the plane needing it!

    Stephane,
I would suggest building the struts, its fairly easy and the manual is available from towers web site with all the dimensions needed. While I think it would be ok without them, the strength they provide is noticeable. The strut end pieces are actually a Great Planes part number GPMQ4258,
