    Aerodynamic lightweight trailers

Does anyone have any personal experience with these trailers? http://www.ironhorsetrailers.com/ I certainly like the idea that they do not require a large tow vehicle and they do not affect gas mileage too much. I drove about 17,000 miles last year to sailplane events, so the 25 mpg that my Dodge Caravan gets is a big deal to me. The trailers are godawful expensive, but I like the idea.

I have watched a few that were for sale on Ebay and would love to see one up close...their biggest one is just long enough to fit a 1/2 scale KA6 fuselage, but that is only on the center line and down low. The company itself is not very good about replying to e-mails sent on their webpage. They do appear to be very easy to pull!!

I've seen these and they are quite big inside.....only downside I see is because of the shape you end up with wasted space.
Vintage wood is the BEST! But....every now and then a plastic missile can be quite enjoyable!
