It's not complicated, bigger is better.
Hi len good to here from youyah she is a big girl.....wait till you see the coulour scheeme, my fox is from John Copeland of Composite Scale models here in Oz, John also kits a very nice 1/3 ASH 26/31 1/4 wilga and the big gun a 1/3 Stemme S10 to 8 meters complete with scale UC and Motor out of nose unit.....Very nice kit.
So today has been quite productive with the wings to my 4 meter fox ready to cut out the ailerons and top coat, but more importantly the big ASW 22 now has slipery smooth lower centre panels and one outboard panel ready to start cutting flaps and ailerons out. On the centre panels I am now ready to glue in the 740mm airbrakes, I did think abut substituting these for smaller scale units but I'm not going to worry about it and figure a little extra airbrake never goes astray. Once fitted I can blend the top skins prime and wet rub the top before routering out the flaps and cutting out the servo bays.
All in all I'm pretty happy with what I have got done today.
Looking good mate!
Vintage wood is the BEST! But....every now and then a plastic missile can be quite enjoyable!
