    38% Hempel Super Decathlon

I'm beginning to assemble another 38% Decathlon for this year, my last one was lost last summer due to a " glitch in the neurological down-link system" ( brainfart ) When I inadvertently switched off the radio instead of the throttle trim.
Since the build has been done before, I will just show some modifications here that I am making to the model. These mods are changes I have made which make the plane either stronger or easier to operate.

The first modification is to make the "tunnel" longer for the DA 150 Canisters. The parts with the black XXX on them will be removed.

Sorry for the lack of reports, the Decathlon is nearing completion, I hope to fly it in Salem this weekend. All the mods have been completed so there are only a handful of things left to do. I still need to glue in the windows and doors, mount the 100 oz tank and fuel filler. Make the floor for the rear cockpit deck and install the 40% Axel Pilot bust.
    I'll post some pictures tonight.
