    Petr -- sorry, but it has to stay put until I can manufacture a set of wing and stab bags for transportation. Those big fabric-covered wing panels need some nice cozies to keep them safe! I'd love to get a flight on it this weekend, but it would literally mean not coming one day so I could have the time to get it done. I'd rather fly while the flyin' is good!

    Understood. Makes perfect sense. That reminds me...I need to make some "cozies" to transport my 1-7. What will you use for those "cozies"?

    Anyone wondering about the 1/2 scale kit as i was. Here is the rersponse from my inquire about a kit and shipping.

    Hi,

    PWS-101 on a scale of 1:2 will not be available as a kit. We can do a special order with ARF. PWS-101 KIT version is available in the scale of 1:3 and 1:3,8. Yes we send the models to the U.S.

    I cried in my cereal for an hour after reading it. I would guess OHH about 3-4k just for shipping an ARF that size !

    Jerry, It would be about a $1000. Thats what it cost to ship the DG1000 from Germany, and thats a huge plane.

    Jerry,

    I priced the complete build & shipping of the 50% PWS 101 for a friend back in the early summer. Shipping from Poland to California was 1100 Euros or about $1440 USD at current conversion.
