Hi Pete. Yes, Old Gilders -- they are doing the PWS in multiple sizes now. I can't wait to see who goes in for the 9.5 meter one!

That's the correct string of build shots. This URL from the post way above works too. Scroll down the page: http://www.oldgliders.com/pws-101-1-3.html

NOTE: Use the link above or the link in Pete's e-mail. For some reason when you hit the site directly and then go to the PWS, sometime all you get is about a dozen build shots.

I realized I never posted details on the "how long" it took and the "shipping."

I looked back in my e-mail and after talking on and off in the latter half of 2011, we settled on everything on January 4, 2012 with the down payment to start the build. After a stopover at JFK, it arrived in CT on March 9.

Shipping was arranged via Schenker. They operate around the world, so it was a deal done by their Poland arm with the USA arm, arraigned by Piotr in Germany. Somewhere in the conversations between Piotr and me we didn't realize I'd need to get it "expedited" through customs at JFK. So that was an additional cost, but now I have an account if anyone needs to import to the USA.

It was a fun process and yes, I'd do it again. When you think what it takes to get a huge wooden crate from a workshop in Poland to the airport, onto a cargo jet, to the USA, through customs, onto another truck and then from a depot into my trailer for the final 26 miles, it was quite an odyssey.

Love it Steve!! Not a bad price for the amount of work that goes into one of these. Also like the pull pull system.

Are you going to have it for next weekend in Salem? Maybe a few flights before the New England Aerotow?

    Git-r-done

It's not complicated, bigger is better.

JR at the end of May remains the target. Back to work in the AM, no free evenings, and no more play until next weekend. And heck, it might be nice to actually fly something one day next weekend.

Let me know if anyone has questions about any part. There are about 250 build photos on Biniu's site, I can check or measure anything here.

Steve, here's what I have....you can kinda see the seat in some of them...

Vintage wood is the BEST! But....every now and then a plastic missile can be quite enjoyable!

Each elevator will be activated by its
own JR 8411 servo. Metal gears and 155 oz.

Two layers of 3oz S-glass added to the stabilizer
interior, each servo gets its own ply mount that was
    epoxied to the fiberglass floor

Right wing main panel wiring was

Problem is, my plane is the guy in the coveralls and cap -- I look dumb enough as it is! That outfit would be a fail.

BTW, if anyone want to discuss price on this or the shipping hit, please send me a PM. One because I tell my beautiful bride that every plane cost $5, and secondly because I just saw the new price on the website. I'll provide counsel on the delta between the numbers, but only to serious buyers.
