Sailplane Trailer, Plus Transportation Box
For Sale is my custom built sailplane trailer. This is the one I did the thread on last year..
The word has gotten around that I've ordered a larger trailer, so I guess it's time to put this one up for sale. OK guys, Start the comment. I can handle it.
The trailer is 14 ft long, 6 feet wide and 6 feet high. It has Dual axles, side door and rear ramp. This trailer was designed to for convenience, There are custom built cabinets, with drawers and doors, a wing rack for all the wings, a pull out 12 ft long tray for sailplane fuselages, and I'm going to include the big white box which now holds three big gliders. The trailer has a 12v battery with a solar charger on the roof, complete with electric T stat controlled fan to keep it cool in the summer. 12v exterior plugs for charging batteries and a 110 outlet for shore power and a converter when parked. Also on the front tongue is an aluminum cargo box.
This is in Perfect condition, painted interior, epoxy coated floor and ramp. Exterior vents, and a step for the side door. All the interior shelves and platforms are built over steel 1" sq tubing, very strong and true.
The trailer is not hacked together, it's built to last and provide endless service for someone.
If you have self control, this is the trailer for you. Unlike me, who has to have gliders with 35 ft wingspans and 38% towplanes. This will carry everything the NORMAL person would ever need to the field or event.
Price is $6000.
