    Aertowing at Joe Nall....

As Jim and I will be in Salem flying....

The latest member of the HighPoint Aviation Aerotowing Team, Nick Carozza will be at Joe Nall to provide guys their first time experience aerotowing. He will be operating on the electric flight line.

Nick is a great guy and is planning on spreading the good word to the masses about aerotowing.

As far as we know this will be a first at this event.

The set up will be his E-Telemaster and Multiplex Cularis.

If your going to the event look him up....

Great idea! I'm sure he'll get all bunch of new pilots interested in aerotow.

    Thanks Petr....

That's exactly what he will try and do. Get people that are not sailplane guys interested in something different. Ken Moore will be there helping.

They are very excited to help....

Dave, that would be a nice boost for aerotowing. To take a large audience like that and show them something they have probably not seen before. Wonderful way to have multiple things happening at once. Thanks for getting Nick started.

The plan for this year is to do the same thing that we always do....
Let people have a chance to try Aerotowing, get them excited so next year they will start looking for the Aerotow guys.
With over 4000 people expected and 1000 registered pilots there should not be a shortage of people wanting to try it....

If time allows I'm planning to take the gliders so some local RC scale events I usually attend. Not sure if I'll be able to actually tow /depends if I get tug+tug pilot with me/ but even setting the thing up at the pits may generate some interest.

    Sometimes that's all it takes....

Just showing others can start the fire....

    Hi Guys,

I plan on taking my 50% KA-6 to the JN and tow off the main flight line! Should be pretty cool!

I think it's outstanding that people will watch Bill Hempel fly a glider! Good job, Bill.
