I posted this over in General Miscellaneous Items For Sale, but thought it might get more visibility here.
Some of you saw these boxes at JR last year. I shipped my models in one and my chairs, transmitters, chargers, etc. in the other.
The one for sale is the one I shipped my gear in, the one with the Ventus has already sold.
The dimension of the box is 20" x 20" x 96" (8ft). In this shipping box there are no fittings to hold a sailplane, it is an open box.
It is solidly built with a piano hinged lid, removable wheels on one end, casters on the other. Also includes covered lid restraints, a locking hasp and handles at each end for carrying and moving. The box is finished with 4 coats of polyurethane clear.
I am asking $225, though offers will be considered.
Can be seen and/or picked up at Visalia during the Spring Aero Tow May 18th through May 20th 2012. I would prefer local pick up but, as one person has pointed out, these are shipping crates and can be shipped.
