When I came to this thread I thought I was on patio.com and this was a tutorial on laying bricks. The combination of bricks, epoxy and carbon wrap is certain to eliminate the need for foam wedge block added to the outside of each wing. So, you'll be less cool but it should fly better. I guess those are the trade offs.
If flying were the language of men, soaring would be its poetry

    Trade offs they are.....
I can do a tutorial on laying bricks if one is desired!
In fact we just finished laying up the base for a wood fired domed pizza oven at a new restaurant that a friend is opening in downtown Richmond....meeting the guy who is going to be building the oven itself tomorrow so I can arrange to help him and learn how to build them.

Vintage wood is the BEST! But....every now and then a plastic missile can be quite enjoyable!

    OK....lets get back to sailplanes!
Worked on the shear webbing for the other side of the spar......this is the straight side so it can't be clamped with weight...so....I had to dig up almost every small clamp I own!....I need to buy more!
