ASK-21 E-Flight UMX ultra micro sailplane aerotow

Downloaded my Quiet and Electric Flight Oct 2012 magazine susbcription on my iPad this morning and low and behold the back cover is graced with a full page ad. Yes, it is a UK magazine but first ad, uber kewl. It's foam, totally SCALE and I LOVE it. I know this has been in the works for a long time, hope it will arrive soon - go Horizon!

    Cheers, Thompson

Maybe it is finally gonna be released? It was at the AMA show last January, I figured it would be in our hands a few months later, must have been manufacturing snafu's.

I hope so! The website says late October. I'll most likely end up with one of these baby foam sailplanes and come up with some sort of added scale detail. I really like the scale looks of it, so correct, except for the lack of a graphic cockpit and proper pilot. I'll be all over that fix, easy.

Boy, you could go over to Dana Point / San Clemente and chuck that off water tower hill no sweat or anywhere for that matter.

I wonder if I can tow this with my UM Mossie twin?

Thompson says, "Taking scale to a whole new dimension".

At the new $49.99 price this is great little sailplane. We are using a VisionAire as the tug. It could tow a bunch at one time if you could figure out the tow line...... Anyway, we are having fun flying the ASK-21
